These solid threaded inserts are strong, easy to install, and self-locking, ensuring optimal holding power in metal. The 12L14 Carbon steel thread inserts can be installed with standard tools, eliminating the need for special drills, taps, or installation tools. Designed for use with soft metals such as aluminum, cast iron, magnesium, etc., these inserts are an ideal solution for repairing or reinforcing tapped holes in metal. The pre-applied adhesive on the external threads activates during installation and securely locks the insert in place, making them vibration-resistant and able to seal against liquids/gases up to 6,000 psi.
